After a beautiful time of worship, Karen Styles gave testimony of how she lead her father, Brian Styles to the Lord in the sinners prayer the day before he ceased to respond before passing on. Karen was also privileged to have led her mother to the Lord eleven years ago.
We were blessed to have missionaries Guy and his lovely wife Collie from Papua New Guinea there. Guy, a middle aged well spoken, tall, exuberant, gregarious, humorous English preacher who shoots from the hip took to the pulpit. His message was on Hope, Faith and Love, bringing a challenging and new perspective. It was one of those occasions where the congregation were so blessed it looked like no one wanted to leave. He spoke about his 95 year old mother, Helen, who was our guest of honor at the service. She was in the Dutch Resistance in WWII and was condemned to a firing squad but by a miracle God had spared her life.
One of our favorite worship songs at Rhema Church.
