Hebrews 14-15
Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord: 15 looking carefully lest anyone fall short of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up cause trouble, and by this many become defiled.
Often when praying for the manifestation of healing of arthritis we find there is bitterness and unfogiveness in a person's life. I'm not saying that is the case with everyone, however it might be beneficial for us to search your heart and think about close relationships that may have soured. Often when we get hurt, we can allow resentment in, with bitterness and unforgiveness following this results in us giving demons of infirmity and others a foothold. If you find that you do have bitterness and unforgiveness then repent of it and try to make right with those you may have offended. Then command those spirits of bitterness, unforgiveness to leave your soul and body in the name of Jesus Christ.
Testimony
I once prayed for an old lady who had arthritis in the shin of her left leg. As I was praying for her the Lord said to me:"She has unforgiveness". I asked her: "Do you have unforgiveness in your heart towards anyone?" She sternly replied: "I hate my son in law". I said:"You have to forgive him, the bible says in Matthew 6:15: If you do not forgive others the Father will not forgive you". She said:"I can't". After much coaxing and persuading she eventually said : "I forgive him". That opened the door for God to work in her life. I prayed: "Spirit of arthritis I command you to leave her right now". Suddenly she started jumping around. She Said:" Something left my leg (left leg) I could feel the bones in my leg moving, it's gone into the other leg. I commanded it to get out of both legs and her body. By the time I left she was over joyed and could walk without anymore pain. As a result five others in her family received Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour that evening. Glory to God.
Luke 13:10-17 Spirit of Infirmity
Now He was teaching in one of the synagogues on the Sabbath. 11 And behold, there was a woman who had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bent over and could in no way raise herself up. 12 But when Jesus saw her, He called her to Him and said to her, “Woman, you are loosed from your infirmity.” 13 And He laid His hands on her, and immediately she was made straight, and glorified God.
