Romans 12: 1-2: I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. 2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
Apostle Paul told us not to conform to this world ,but to be transformed by the renewing of our minds.
This morning I woke up feeling down and sorry for myself, when suddenly out of the blue my mind said: "Stop acting like a baby". I began to change by walking upright, focusing on my tasks for the day. Whilst this may not have been God inspired it certainly had a positive effect on me. As believers we would want us to renew our minds by the Holy Spirit.We are triune beings, spirit, soul and body. When the Spirit speaks into our minds our mind triggers our brain to direct our bodies accordingly. As we become more God conscious by praying in tongues, reading the bible, meditating on the Lord,worshiping, fellow shipping with other believers,etc, our spirit man becomes more sensitive to God and therefore will be more able to hear from God.
This evening I was watching TBN and found the speaker Dr. Caroline Leaf to be very interesting and decided to share a youtube clip with you.
