Has devotional time become a tiresome ritual?

​ One must be careful that our time of devotion doesn't become a robotic ritual and without desire to come into the Holy of Holies, sometimes we need to press in to touch the heart of God, until we do that we are not really entering into the real intimacy with God. We should have such a desire to want to meet with God everyday, but often our flesh (sinful nature) gets in the way, so we have to keep pressavering (as a friend says) in prayer and worship until we take every thought captive to the obedience of the Lordship of Yeshua and can then enter a dimension of the Spirit where His glory is manifested.. A few points to help you enter in to His presence:                                                                            1. Check your heart, see that there is no unforgiveness or sin.                                                  2. Desire to meet with God.                                                                                                                3. Expect Him to talk to You                                                                                                              4. Pray and worship with purpose.Come to Him believing and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.                                                                                              . 5.Relationship is giving and receiving its not achieving. You cannot impress God with your knowledge or works, come to him as a little child.
6. Pray in faith not hard.
