Thought for the day on life after death
The bible says: That to each is an appointed time to die once. Nothing is said about reincarnation anywhere in the bible. Today a great man died, Nelson Mandela, who was greatly influenced by leaders and ministers of the Methodist church in South Africa. As well as the likes of Rev. Frank Chikane who was instrumental in influencing Mandela bringing about a political peaceful change to South Africa. We know that through the input of these men of God that Mandela is in a better place.
1 Thessalonians 4 v 13-18:But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so on asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words.
What comforting words to know that as a believer in Yeshua, the same power that resurrected Yeshua from the dead abides in us and when our physical bodies die we receive celestial bodies and go to paradise to await the return of Yeshua where we will meet Him in the clouds.
