In the Abrahamic covenant God said to Abraham in the Tanakh: “By Myself I have sworn, says the Lord, because you have done this thing, and have not withheld your son, your only son, blessing I will bless you, and multiplying I will multiply your descendants as the stars of the heaven and as the sand which is on the seashore; and your descendants shall possess the gate of their enemies. In your Seed all the nations of the earth shall be blessed, because you have obeyed My voice.” What happened in that covenant was type and shadow of what was to come, namely; that God would not withhold His Son as a sacrifice to Himself on behalf of fallen man. God said: "In your Seed all the nations of the earth will be blessed", note it was singular Seed and not seeds, referring to the Messiah who was from the line of Judah, the royal line of David, the Lion of Judah, The Rose of Sharon, The King of Kings, Yeshua HaMashiach. Through Abraham's Seed (Yeshua) all nations, gentile or Greek could come into Judaism by faith and no longer in observance of the Law of Moses through circumcision, thus the prophecy was fulfilled that Abraham would be a father of many nations, that all nations shall be blessed and Abraham's 'descendants would be as the stars of the heaven and the sand which is on the seashore'. Yeshua's birth and resurrection fulfilled 355 prophecies in the Tanakh, most of them written by King David, Prophets Isaiah, Moses and Zechariah. http://www.accordingtothescriptures.org/.../353prophecies...
