Thought for the day on Gods Provision
King David said in this Psalm that he had never seen God not provide for the believer nor their descendants:
Psalm 37 V 25: I have been young and now I am old, yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his descendants begging bread.
and Yeshua said in:
Mathew 6 v 26: Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor gather into barns, yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?
How often have we been in situations where we never knew where the next penny would come from, our capital eroded, our salary spent, our credit with the bank, family and friends up to the hilt and we found ourselves half way through the month. Payday seemed a long way off. At the beginning of the month we were happy go lucky not giving God a second thought until we found ourselves in a desperate situation and suddenly we began to pray up a storm. Praise God that He hears our prayers, when one gets married at the alter two words are said "I do", when they were uttered there was no doubt in our hearts that God heard us. The bible says:" God watches over His word to perform it," if God said it that settles it, He will provide. God took care of all our needs in ever sense of the word when He went to the cross, whether it be spiritually, financially, emotionally, or physically. Yeshua said "It is finished", meaning He had done everything He needed to do before leaving this earth, so that we would not have to be defeated by spiritual death, poverty, or sickness. These things will come to try you, but you do not have to allow it into your life. All we need to do is believe and receive that grace that He had appropriated for us on the cross.
