After breakfast with Doug, Suzette and Graham I high tailed it back on myself for another 5 miles heading towards the Atlantic towards Sandbridge road, which consists of a whole lot of large holiday homes which rent out from $900/week. It was disappointing because apart from a shop and restaurant at the beginning of the strip there was very little else after 3 miles of cycling. Then I entered the National Park cycling for all I was worth a dirt road in an attempt to make it to the otherside before the gate closed. y I hit a sand road towards the beach which went on and on and the sand was far to thick to cycle, so I had to pull the bike all the way to the beach. I thought at least I got through this but when I checked the signboard it appeared that I was back to where I started. I thought what the heck, I'm too tired , I'll just find a nice spot to camp. I had a refreshing swim in the sea and was just about to have dinner,a banana and peach, with a treat of a c bar of Twix, when a police vehicle arrived. Surprisingly a pretty blonde lady in uniform stepped out, she was warm and friendly as she told me I could not camp there. I explained that I had done a whole 2 hours of cycling and was too tired to move. She asked where my car was. I said in England, I have cycled from D.C. to here. She kindly offered to load my bike and kit on her 4x4 and take me South to the end of the resort 7 miles further on. I was ever so grateful. Cameron and I entered into conversation along the way about God, church, her family, and her car accident where she lost some of her sight in the left eye. After unloading the bike and kit I prayed for healing in her eye and her mother who was suffering from Alzheimers. Can we continue to keep her and her mother in prayer??? Thank you so much for all the prayers and support from my church in Horley ,England- Lee Street Church, I really value it.

Smiley kind police officer - Cameron
She has been patrolling the beautiful national park and beach for 25 years and calls it "Gods Country", I can't argue that point. America is so full of kind generous warm people, it touches my heart in a big way.
