Myself, Doug, Graham and Suzette outside the restaurant where we had breakfast

I awoke late from my slumber, 8 a.m.,then spent most of my time on the internet before having a quick swim in the hotel pool.
I then made my way to the have a last swim in the sea. I lazed about on the beach until 2 p.m., my stomach began grumbling. I set off to find somewhere not too expensive to eat. I saw this quaint Irish Bar/Restaurant, I positioned myself between two couples on the bar built on the deck.
Pic of the Methodist Church I camped at. I ordered a swiss ham sandwich with chips
before hitting the road to Kitty Hawk.
After about 80 minutes of cycling, I had a terrible feeling that I had nearly did a full circle. I hastily phoned Karen to check the directions on google map. Yes, I had come 5.3 miles back on myself, which mean't that I had to go another 5.3 miles back again. I cycled a for a further 2 hours, the sun was going down and I had covered 28 miles. I saw a church in the horizon and thought that it might be a good spot for camping. I was greeted by a bunch of friendly faces, who invited me in to their games evening, offering me pizza, salad and cold drink. It was a very pleasant evening at Mount Pleasant Methodist Church. They were all a very lovely, hospitable bunch of people. Doug a likable retired Petty Officer offered to take me for breakfast at 8 a.m. the next morning. Once they all departed I camped down. The next morning I got ready by 8 a.m., Doug and his sweet wife Suzette, and son Graham arrived.
The breakfast was great as I chomped on 3 pancakes with syrup, 2 fried eggs, ham & 2 cups of warm coffee. We spoke about Doug and Suzette's time when they were both in the navy, Doug was posted to Aberdeen in Scotland and Suzette to London.
